We want our city to be open about what they are doing, honest in their dealings with the public and above all to follow the most generous interpretation of state laws in the areas of closed meetings, secret committees, and disclosure to the public. Unfortunately, four of the five current (2000) city council members, Sherri Butterfield, Susan Withrow, Bill Craycraft and Rogel Faubel do not believe in these ideals.
