Stop AB 131 Update I want to give you a fantastic report from the road. We have been storming the State gathering signatures to stop the Dream Act with a great response. We just traveled through the state's agricultural capital in the Central Valley, where we held successful events in Fresno and Bakersfield. Thousands of voters came out to express their strong opposition to Governor Jerry Brown's recent signing of AB 131 which would give free college tuition to illegal immigrants. Seeing so many enthusiastic voters this week gives me confidence that we WILL get the signatures needed to qualify this measure for the ballot, and begin to return some common sense to the state of California. But we still have a long way to go to defeat AB131 and need your support. If you want to contribute to this campaign or pick up your petitions, your help would be greatly appreciated. We need to gather 700,000 signatures by year-end, and with 300,000 petitions deployed, our effort is just hitting its full stride.
