April 15 Tea Party Update

Mission Viejo Tea Party Patriots will reunite for their third annual Tax Day protest on April 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The rally will be held at the traditional location on the corners of La Paz Road and Marguerite Parkway.

Opening the event with spirited, patriotic music will be Diamond Tom, a popular Mission Viejo vocalist. Tea Party organizers say the two-hour rally will be a mix of music, speeches and introduction of officials. Among those who have accepted invitations are former State Assemblymen Todd Spitzer and Chuck DeVore, who have announced their intention to run for the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
