ACT for America Meeting Bruce Mayall, Chapter Leader
Reminder – Mission Viejo Chapter of ACT for America will hold its monthly general meeting on Mon., Feb. 13. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the meeting starts promptly at 7:30 p.m.
The topic of the meeting will be “Forget the War Against Islam – Let’s Win the Skirmishes First.” Guest speaker will be Karen Lugo, constitutional law professor and activist, presenting practical advice and tips on scoring victories against the Islamist agenda in our communities.
While many anti-Islamists are wringing their hands and dissecting the Koran, Muslims focus on subtle -- yet powerful and symbolic -- changes to our culture. We are currently on track to race down the path that Europe has trod since we have failed to learn the lessons of Europe's capitulation.
Karen Lugo is a visiting professor at Chapman Law School and co-teaches the advanced Constitutional Law Clinic. She is the founder of The Libertas-West Project and in this capacity she submitted a brief to Conseil d'Etat on the legal grounds for banning the burqa in France.
Karen will speak for about 50 minutes and then will have about 30 minutes for questions. A $5 donation is appreciated to help cover our costs. The meeting location is the Norman P. Murray Community Center (Sycamore B room), 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo.
