The Mission Viejo Chapter of ACT for America will hold a general meeting on Mon., Feb. 11, at the Norm Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the meeting starts promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Guest speaker Jamie Glazov’s topic will be “United in Hatred for America: The Left’s Dangerous Romance with Tyrants and Terrorists.” Glazov is the author and editor of Front Page online magazine.

The Left's infatuation with militant Islam is a continuation of their love affair with twentieth century communist totalitarianism. The Left supported the brutal killing machines of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro and other communist tyrants who murdered approximately 100 million of their own citizens. Now, "Progressives" are aiding and abetting homicidal Islamists around the globe and right here in America.

Both the radical Left and the Islamists possess a profound hatred for Western culture, for a capitalist economy that celebrates individual achievement, and for the Judeo-Christian values of the United States. Both seek to establish a new world order: leftists in the form of a secular communist society, and Islamists in the form of a caliphate ruled by sharia (Islamic law). To achieve these goals, both are willing to "wipe the slate clean" by means of massive death and destruction. Their ultimate fantasy is to build a worldwide utopia upon the ruins of the civilization they destroy.

Glazov will discuss:

  • What toxic beliefs and tortuous logic attract Leftists to tyrants and mass murders?
  • How the Left is actively abetting Islamic jihad against America and the West.
  • Obama's very real threat to values, rights and security of Americans.
  • The Left's deafening silence on the horrors of Islamic barbarity to women.

Glazov holds a Ph.D. in history with a specialty in Russian, U.S. and Canadian foreign policy.
