CITY OF MISSION VIEJO CALL TO ORDER 6:30 PM PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Led by Vice Chairman Leckness ROLL CALL: PUBLIC COMMENTS - NON AGENDA MATTERS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS Any person wishing to address the Commission on any matter, either under the Public Comments section of the Agenda or scheduled items or public hearings, must fill out a “Request to Speak” form available at the door. The completed form must be submitted to the Secretary prior to the Agenda item being called by the Chairperson. In speaking to the Commission, members of the public shall be limited to three minutes per person, except for the applicant for entitlement. The Chairperson may establish an overall time limit for comments on a particular Agenda Item. Members of the public must direct their questions to the Chairperson of the Commission and not to other members of the Commission, the applicant, the Staff, or the audience. PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA MATTERS OTHER THAN PUBLIC HEARINGS This is the time for members of the public to address the Commission on matters, which are on the Commission’s consent calendar or on matters, which do not appear on the Commission’s Agenda. Any person wishing to address the Commission on these matters must fill out a “Request to Speak” form available at the door. The completed form must be submitted to the Secretary prior to the Agenda item being called by the Chairperson. Under state law, no action can be taken on comments from the public if the matter is not on the Commission’s Agenda unless the Commission makes a determination that (1) an emergency exists or (2) that the need to take action arose after the posting of the Agenda and that action must be taken before the next regular meeting of the Commission. There shall be an overall time limit of 15 minutes for the Public Comments portion of the Agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and all will be enacted by one roll call vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless members of the Commission that request specific items be removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. 1. October 27, 2008, Minutes 2. Status Report Planning and Transportation Commission Matters PUBLIC HEARINGS 3. Planned Development Permit PDP2008-204, being a petition submitted by Jeff Lerch of Foundation Real Estate Advisors, Inc., agent for Crown Valley Imaging, to add 4,080 sq. ft. of lease space to the existing 4,943 sq. ft. imaging facility located at 27401 Los Altos, in the OP (Office/Professional) zone. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution approving PDP2008-204. 4. Conditional Use Permit CUP2008-268, being a petition submitted by Eskandar Eskandari to permit a Type 41 (On-Sale Beer and Wine for Bona Fide Public Eating Place) liquor license in conjunction with a 1,498 sq. ft. Mediterranean restaurant located at 28815 Los Alisos Boulevard, Suite C, Mission Foothill Shopping Center, in the CH (Commercial Highway) zone. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution approving CUP2008-268. 5. Conditional Use Permit CUP2008-269, being a petition submitted by Moses Jung of Kazzmo Corp to permit a Type 41 (On-Sale Beer and Wine for Bona Fide Public Eating Place) liquor license in conjunction with the existing 1,929 sq. ft. Mustard Caf‚ located at 24000 Alicia Parkway, Suite 23, Gateway Center, in the CC (Commercial Community) zone. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution approving CUP2008-269.
